Karnataka police have arrested two individuals in connection with an alleged ₹5 crore bribery scheme targeting Odisha Congress MLAs during a stay at a Bengaluru resort, according to Deputy Chief Minister D.K.

The suspects are accused of offering money and blank cheques to influence voting in the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections, part of a probe dubbed "Operation Lotus."
Authorities seized blank cheques during the operation, but no official confirmation from the Election Commission or police has been released.
The BJP has not responded to the allegations, which have intensified political tensions ahead of the parliamentary polls.
