Israel and the U.S. intensify pressure on Iran after third week of conflict without de-escalation.
Israel’s ambassador to India, Reuven Azar, said the conflict with Iran has entered its third week with no signs of de-escalation, as Iran continues to strengthen its position despite a major counter-attack involving hundreds of missiles and drones that caused around 12 deaths and infrastructure damage.
He stressed that neither the U.S. nor Israel plans to invade Iran, instead focusing on pressuring Iran to change its policies from within to promote regional stability and prevent nuclear proliferation.
Azar emphasized the importance of diplomatic engagement and noted possible internal divisions in Iran’s leadership could influence future developments, while warning that failure to act now could lead to a more dangerous situation.
