An Indian tanker safely left Fujairah after a drone attack disrupted oil loading, with all crew unharmed and ongoing efforts to ensure maritime safety.

An Indian-flagged tanker, Jag Laadki, safely departed Fujairah, UAE, on March 15, 2026, after a drone attack on the Fujairah oil terminal disrupted operations while it was loading 80,800 metric tons of Murban crude. All crew members are safe and unharmed. Two other Indian LPG carriers, Shivalik and Nanda Devi, crossed the Strait of Hormuz and are en route to Indian ports. The Directorate General of Shipping is monitoring 22 Indian vessels with 611 seafarers west of the Persian Gulf. Over 276 Indian seafarers have been repatriated, including 23 in the past day, amid ongoing regional tensions. Indian ports and government agencies are coordinating to ensure maritime safety and trade continuity.
