Born in Manitoba, she worked as a stenographer in Washington D.C. before marrying NHL goaltender Gordie Bell, with whom she traveled across North America before settling in Belleville, where they won a world hockey championship.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandsons.
Her family praised the hospital’s tribute, underscoring her enduring commitment to healthcare.
