A new theatre festival runs March 27–29 at The Folk of Gloucester, celebrating International Theatre Day with diverse performances including a 1970s comedy, a villain’s take on Hamlet, poetry and music inspired by John Keats, and a sketch show about European eels.
Other acts feature improvised comedy based on audience dreams, a monologue on smoking, and a story about a girl’s spirited life.
The community-run venue, formerly the Folk Museum, offers tickets at £8 and £6 for concessions.
