Qatar has delivered aid to 40,500 displaced families in Lebanon amid ongoing conflict, providing over 12,000 food baskets and essential items through Qatar Charity and the Qatar Red Crescent Society. The aid is part of broader 2026 humanitarian efforts, including 25 water and sanitation projects across nine countries benefiting 3.67 million people, and 12 education initiatives supporting 24,230 children. In Syria, QRCS is distributing food baskets to 6,125 vulnerable families in Idlib and Aleppo, in coordination with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, to address worsening food insecurity.
