A three-day auction of late Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay’s memorabilia at Christie’s raised over $93 million, surpassing its $40 million estimate and setting 23 world records. Notable sales included David Gilmour’s Pink Floyd guitar for $14.55 million, Jack Kerouac’s “On the Road” manuscript for $12.135 million, Secretariat’s 1973 Triple Crown saddle for $1.524 million, and Wayne Gretzky’s 500th-goal jersey for $952,500. Proceeds will support charities Irsay championed. He died in March 2025 at 65 from cardiac arrest, and his death is under FBI investigation, with scrutiny on his ties to Dr. Harry Haroutunian, a California addiction specialist.
