Indian edtech company upGrad has agreed to acquire rival Unacademy in an all-stock transaction, with Unacademy’s founder and CEO Gaurav Munjal set to continue leading the company.
The deal, pending regulatory approval, includes a break fee and is expected to close in two to three months.
