Girl Scouts San Diego sues Ferrero over contract breach, citing $1.1M in lost revenue and 25 job cuts after sudden price hike and termination.
Girl Scouts San Diego has sued Ferrero U.S.A., parent of Little Brownie Bakers, alleging the company breached a four-year contract by voiding the final year and demanding a 22% price hike, leading to over $1.1 million in lost revenue and 25 job cuts.
The lawsuit says the abrupt termination forced a rushed transition to a new baker, reducing cookie sales from 2.3 million packages and $8.3 million in 2024 to 2.1 million and $7.2 million in 2025.
The organization claims it tried to resolve the issue through negotiations for nearly two years before filing suit, citing damage to funding, volunteer trust, and its mission.
Ferrero declined to comment.
