Six individuals were arrested, including passengers hiding cash and gems in false handbag compartments, a handler, and a suspected hawala operator.
The operation followed intelligence leads, with authorities intercepting the group before international flights.
All seized items were confiscated under the Customs Act, 1962, as the DRI continues investigating the network’s structure, origins, and links to organized crime.
