A woman died in a head-on crash on Edmonton’s Anthony Henday Drive after driving the wrong way.

A 27-year-old woman died in a head-on collision on Anthony Henday Drive in Edmonton early Saturday morning near Terwillegar Drive. She was driving a westbound Nissan Kicks in the wrong lane when it struck an eastbound Hyundai Elantra driven by a 37-year-old man, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was hospitalized. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Edmonton Police are investigating and seeking dash cam footage or eyewitness accounts.
