ROW4MND finished 250-mile row around Britain to raise £57M for MND charities, plans to resume in May.
A four-person rowing team, ROW4MND, has reached Port Logan, Scotland, after enduring harsh weather and navigating over 250 nautical miles during a grueling circumnavigation of Britain. The crew, who began in South Wales but were diverted to Northern Ireland due to storms, aims to raise £57 million for three MND-focused charities. Despite extreme conditions, including cold, strong winds, and rough seas, the team described the challenge as deeply meaningful. They plan to resume their journey in early May to complete the final leg along Scotland’s western coastline, including the Western Isles, with future goals including a world record row from New York to London in 2028.
