This spring, the restored Bluebird K7 hydroplane, famously piloted by Donald Campbell, returns to Coniston Water for the first time since its 2025 recovery and restoration. From May 11–17, the free Bluebird Festival will feature up to eight test runs daily on the lake, weather permitting, allowing public access to the vessel and its engineering teams.
