A Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps officer was killed Friday during a Ramadan and Sallah relief distribution in Kano State’s Tudun Wada, reportedly after hoodlums attempted to disrupt the event.
The aid program was organized by federal lawmaker Alhassan Ado Doguwa, who confirmed he oversaw the distribution and condemned the attack, urging a thorough investigation and warning against false claims linking him to the incident.
No arrests have been made, and authorities are still probing the circumstances.
