The three-division world champion, who holds titles in super welterweight and welterweight, cited MVP’s focus on creating high-profile fights and its new global platform, MVPW, as key reasons for the move. MVPW, launching in April with ESPN as its U.S. broadcast partner through 2028, will feature a year-round schedule of elite women’s bouts, including Mayer’s potential unification fight against Lauren Price.
