A manhunt is ongoing for Manmeet Singh, a 30-year-old Louisiana man wanted for vehicular manslaughter after allegedly driving drunk and the wrong way on Interstate 10 in September 2025, killing 21-year-old Patricia Saidu, a recent college graduate and aspiring pediatrician from Sierra Leone. Singh, a ride-share driver, had a blood alcohol level of .21% and was hospitalized with serious injuries before fleeing, evading capture by Louisiana State Police, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the U.S. Marshals Service. Authorities believe he may have left the country, and the case remains active in its sixth month, with Crimestoppers offering a reward for information leading to his arrest.
