The stop, following a transit through the Suez Canal and a prior visit to Alexandria, strengthens India-Malta ties and supports India’s MAHASAGAR vision.
The crew held professional exchanges with Malta’s armed forces and hosted community events, including an open ship tour for schoolchildren and the Indian diaspora.
The ship, which departed Kochi on January 20, will next participate in the Escale a Sète maritime festival in France, representing India among international tall ships.
