Indian Naval Ship Trikand concluded its port call in Port Louis, Mauritius, on March 13, 2026, after participating in the country’s 58th National Day celebrations.
The ship took part in the national parade with a marching contingent, naval band, and helicopter flypast.
It hosted a cultural evening for senior officials, welcomed over 500 visitors, and conducted training for the Mauritius National Coast Guard in watchkeeping, firefighting, and damage control.
After departing, it conducted a Passage Exercise and joint EEZ surveillance with the CGS Valiant, reinforcing India-Mauritius naval cooperation and regional security ties.
