A fire in Echo Bay killed two people; cause is under investigation.

A residential fire on Highway 17B in Echo Bay, about 25 km east of Sault Ste. Marie, killed two people Friday afternoon around 3:51 p.m. Emergency responders found the victims inside the home with no other injuries reported.
