Army veteran Casey Harrison ran the Colchester Half Marathon in Ozzy Osbourne costume to honor fallen friend James Hanbury, raising £2,011 for veteran charity Haig Housing.
Army veteran Casey Harrison, 43, completed the Colchester Half Marathon dressed as Ozzy Osbourne to honor his late friend and fellow soldier James Hanbury, who died in 2025.
The event, inspired by a shared dream from their time in Iraq, supports Haig Housing, a charity for veterans.
Harrison, a Colchester Council worker and Parachute Regiment veteran, raised £2,011 toward a £2,500 goal, received encouragement from Buckingham Palace, and is preparing for the London Marathon, where Hanbury’s family will attend.
