The Washington Commanders have signed running back Rachaad White to a one-year contract, reuniting him with quarterback Jayden Daniels, his former Arizona State teammate.
White, 27, played in 17 games with eight starts for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2025, recording 572 rushing yards, four touchdowns, and 40 receptions for 218 yards.
Over his NFL career, he has accumulated 2,656 rushing yards, 14 touchdowns, and 205 receptions for 1,450 yards with 11 receiving touchdowns in 67 games.
His addition strengthens Washington’s backfield, which includes rookie Jacory Croskey-Merritt, following Chris Rodriguez Jr.’s departure to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
