Two people charged in NSW winery break-ins linked to drug finds; both to face court in April 2026.

Two people have been charged in connection with a series of break-ins at wineries and businesses in Pokolbin, part of Operation Ferment. A 32-year-old woman was arrested in Cessnock after police found crystals and five MDMA tablets, facing multiple charges including aggravated breaking and entering and drug possession; she was denied bail. A 31-year-old man was arrested in Nulkaba after police discovered about 4.5 grams of a crystal substance, charged with similar offences, and granted conditional bail. Both face court in April 2026 as police continue investigating the string of thefts involving alcohol, electronics, jewellery, crystals, and gemstones.
