Two North Bay residents charged with first-degree murder in 62-year-old Pierre’s targeted death; two others charged with aiding the crime.
Two North Bay residents, Christina Lessis, 50, and Alexander Demers, 19, have been charged with first-degree murder in the death of 62-year-old Pierre, whose body was found in February 2026 at a Mulligan Street home following a missing person report.
Two other men—Nick Montague, 63, of Sarnia, and Jody Lafleur, 57, of Mattawa—were charged with aiding and abetting the murder.
The North Bay Police Service says the incident was targeted and involved individuals known to the victim.
All four remain in custody ahead of a bail hearing.
Authorities confirm no ongoing threat to public safety, emphasize the investigation is ongoing, and urge the public to report any information through NBPS or Near North Crime Stoppers.
Charges are not proof of guilt.
