The deal, valued at $2.66 billion and worth about $332.5 million, was reported by Sportico.
The new owners, who bring business expertise and local ties to the team, were set to be formally introduced before the Hurricanes’ home game against Pittsburgh.
Dundon, who owns the team outright since 2021, retains majority control.
