Nine people disappeared in Pakistan’s Balochistan amid security raids; families demand international help.
Allegations of enforced disappearances have resurfaced in Pakistan’s Balochistan province, with at least nine people reported taken by security forces in Jiwani, Turbat, Panjgur, Quetta, Noshki, and Gwadar between March 10 and 13, 2026.
Families say detainees were seized during raids or from their homes and transferred to undisclosed locations without notification.
Among those missing are Qambar Imam Baloch, Zaim Muhammad Raheem, Khalid Habib, Jasif Arif, Nabi Bakhsh Behram Baloch, and Mudassir Faizullah.
Meanwhile, several previously detained individuals were released.
Families have urged international human rights groups to intervene, as concerns over human rights abuses and lack of transparency persist in the region.
