A Nigerian court allows ICPC to examine 14 devices seized from former governor El-Rufai’s home during a lawful search.
A Nigerian court has authorized the ICPC to examine 14 electronic devices seized from former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai’s Abuja home during a February 19 search conducted under a warrant.
The devices, including phones and storage drives, are part of an ongoing corruption probe.
El-Rufai is challenging the search in a separate suit, claiming it violated his constitutional rights and seeking N1 billion in damages, while the ICPC and police defend the operation as lawful and properly executed.
The court has not yet ruled on his challenge.
