Nearly 2.9 million Assam women have received funds under a new scheme, with more disbursements underway and PM Modi set to visit Assam to launch major projects.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that nearly 29 lakh women have received funds under the Mahila Udyamita Scheme, with 33.5 lakh expected to benefit.
