Madhya Pradesh paid ₹1,500 to 1.25 crore women via direct transfer on March 13, 2026, as part of its expanding Ladli Behna Yojana.
On March 13, 2026, Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Minister Mohan Yadav disbursed the 34th installment of the Ladli Behna Yojana, transferring ₹1,500 directly to 1.25 crore women’s Aadhaar-linked bank accounts via the Direct Benefit Transfer system.
The payment, totaling ₹1,836 crore, was made during a ceremony at the Shabari Mata Temple in Gwalior, where Yadav also inaugurated 54 development projects worth ₹122 crore.
The scheme, launched in June 2023, has now distributed over ₹54,140 crore, with monthly benefits rising from ₹1,000 to ₹1,500.
The state plans to increase the payout to ₹3,000 by 2028 and link beneficiaries with skill development and self-employment programs to promote long-term economic independence.
