Hettich India opens automated Indore plant, producing 5M drawer runners yearly, adding 300 jobs.
Hettich India has opened a new automated manufacturing plant in Indore, its first dedicated undermount drawer runner facility in the country, as part of a ₹2,000 crore investment.
The 25,700 square meter plant, featuring German-engineered automation and sustainable practices, will produce 5 million drawer runners annually and complement its existing hinge unit making 60 million hinges yearly.
The expansion supports growing demand in domestic and international markets, adds around 300 new jobs, and strengthens India’s role as a production hub for SAARC, the Middle East, Europe, and China.
