Gotham FC signs Norwegian star Guro Reiten from Chelsea for 2026 season, reuniting her with former teammates.

Gotham FC has signed Norwegian international Guro Reiten from Chelsea FC on a permanent basis, with the 31-year-old forward joining the NWSL club in July 2026 for a contract through 2029. Reiten, who made 207 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 59 goals and recording 44 assists, won 13 major trophies, including six Women’s Super League titles. She has over 100 caps for Norway, including appearances in three World Cups. The move, finalized after a loan spell, strengthens Gotham FC’s attack as they defend their 2025 NWSL championship. Reiten will reunite with former Chelsea teammates Ann-Katrin Berger and Jess Carter.
