Fox has greenlit a two-season spin-off series starring Stewie Griffin from "Family Guy," set to premiere in the 2027–2028 season.
The show, executive produced by Seth MacFarlane—who will voice Stewie—and written by longtime "Family Guy" producer Kirk Butler, follows Stewie after he is expelled from his elite preschool and enrolled in a rundown school with unconventional classmates and a grumpy 75-year-old turtle teacher.
Using his inventive gadgets, including a time machine, Stewie embarks on surreal, chaotic adventures.
Episodes will air on Fox and stream the next day on Hulu, with international distribution via Disney+.
MacFarlane is also developing another animated series based on the "Ted" franchise, featuring the original cast in animated form.
