Ugandan children's choir Watoto performs free concerts in Kirkland Lake, March 18–19, sharing music and stories from their nonprofit mission.

The Watoto Children's Choir, a 27-member group from Uganda founded in 1994, will perform two free concerts in Kirkland Lake on March 18 and 19 at Riverside Community Church and Living Faith Assembly. The choir, part of a nonprofit that rescues and supports orphaned and abandoned children with education, healthcare, and training, shares Ugandan culture, Christian faith, and personal stories through music blending contemporary, worship, and original songs from their 2025 album *Better Days*. The event, part of a broader Ontario tour, is community-supported with accommodations provided by Microtel Inn and Suites and local families. The second concert offers better wheelchair access. Donations are welcome.
