Two Irish family support centers received €2,500 each from a national parent peer support fund in 2026.

Two Mayo organizations, the Erris Family and Community Support Centre and Tacú Ballinrobe Family Resource Centre, each received €2,500 from Ireland’s 2026 Parent Peer Support Fund, part of a national initiative expanding parenting support. The fund, now €152,500, supports 49 peer-led projects across Ireland, helping parents share experiences and navigate challenges like mental health, complex needs, and domestic violence. The funding is part of a broader government strategy to strengthen family wellbeing and improve child outcomes.
