The Ravens re-sign cornerback Chidobe Awuzie to a one-year, $5 million deal to bolster their defensive backfield.
The Baltimore Ravens are re-signing veteran cornerback Chidobe Awuzie to a one-year, $5 million contract, according to The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec.
Awuzie, 30, had a strong debut season in 2025, playing in 14 games with five starts, recording 43 tackles and seven pass breakups.
He ranked 13th among qualifying cornerbacks in Pro Football Focus grading and forced tight-window throws at a higher rate than teammates Marlon Humphrey and Nate Wiggins.
The move aims to strengthen the Ravens’ defensive backfield, which returns T.J. Tampa and Keyon Martin, with further additions expected via the NFL draft.
