RASASH, Scotland’s Highland-based sexual violence charity, won the 2026 GSK IMPACT Award for its trauma-informed care and outreach.
RASASH, a Highland-based charity providing specialized support to survivors of sexual violence, has won the 2026 GSK IMPACT Award, receiving £40,000 in unrestricted funding and a leadership development opportunity.
The award recognizes its trauma-informed services, advocacy, and outreach in remote Scottish areas where access to care is limited.
As the only specialist rape and sexual abuse service in the Highlands, RASASH supports individuals aged 13 and over across a vast, sparsely populated region.
The charity was selected from a record number of applicants for its efforts to reduce wait times, expand community education, and improve service delivery.
The recognition comes amid rising sexual crime rates in Scotland, including a 60% increase in reported or attempted rapes since 2015/16.
RASASH, la organización benéfica de violencia sexual con sede en las Highlands de Escocia, ganó el premio 2026 GSK IMPACT por su atención y divulgación informada sobre el trauma.
