Guxo’s deputy leader urges merger with LDK, blaming current leadership for internal fractures and failure to support President Osmani’s re-election.

Guxo’s deputy leader Burim Meta says the party is awaiting President Vjosa Osmani’s next move before deciding its future, advocating a merger with the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK). He criticizes co-chairs Donika Gërvalla and Faton Peci for straying from Guxo’s principles, calling their leadership authoritarian and ideologically inconsistent. Meta blames their decision not to support Osmani’s re-election as a major error, citing internal resignations, including from Deçan branch head Rabije Haklaj and MP Haxhi Avdyli, over lack of transparency and coalition betrayal. He praises Osmani’s international role and suggests she may rejoin LDK, a possibility welcomed by LDK’s leader. Meta insists Guxo must reorient ideologically and distance itself from current leadership.
