Sonos has launched the $299 Play portable speaker and $189 Era 100 SL, marking its first new consumer speakers since 2024. The Play offers 24-hour battery life, Bluetooth multi-speaker grouping without Wi-Fi, a built-in power bank, and IP67 waterproofing. The Era 100 SL is a mic-free, compact version of the Era 100 with identical audio drivers, aimed at privacy-focused users. Both support AirPlay 2, Trueplay tuning, and work with over 100 streaming services. Pre-orders began March 10, with general availability on March 31.
