The Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo will hold its annual Mutton Bustin' event March 26–28, 2026, at the Nacogdoches County Exposition and Civic Center, featuring 15 children aged 3 to 7 and under 60 pounds riding sheep in timed competitions each night at 7 p.m.
Registration closes March 17 at 8 p.m., with random drawings selecting riders nightly; 45 total participants will be announced on KICKS 105 radio, website, and app.
Riders must check in by 6:30 p.m. and wear provided safety gear, with those absent by 6:45 forfeiting their spot.
Each night, the top rider wins a buckle and season pass to Splash Kingdom, the runner-up gets a season pass, and all participants receive a one-day pass; the rider gets free rodeo admission, while adults pay.
A parent or guardian must sign a liability waiver.
