Mohsen Farjam sentenced to 9.5 years for raping a 15-year-old girl with a disability in a Stockport tent in 2018.
Mohsen Farjam, 43, was sentenced to nine and a half years in prison and placed on the sex offender register for life after being convicted of raping a 15-year-old girl with a neurodevelopmental disorder in a Stockport tent in July 2018.
The victim, distressed and alone, was approached by Farjam, who pretended to help, lured her to his tent, gave her vodka, and sexually assaulted her despite her evident fear.
She escaped and reported the attack, leading to Farjam’s arrest within hours.
He denied the charges, claiming he only wanted to give her a massage, but was found guilty on multiple counts including rape and sexual assault.
Greater Manchester Police reviewed tens of thousands of pages of evidence, and authorities highlighted the importance of support services for survivors.
