Srivatsa demanded a criminal probe into a land deal in Kurubarahalli, Mysuru, where 24.10 acres of government land was allegedly sold for Rs 4.75 crore and then canceled amid irregularities, including suspicious document signatures and unexplained refunds.
He questioned the lack of updated records, possible collusion with officials, and the land’s potential value of up to Rs 900 crore, urging accountability from top ministers.
The state government defended the process, stating Cabinet approval was obtained, and noted similar land allocations to the BJP in the past.
Meanwhile, a separate debate erupted over Congress party land allotments, with BJP members accusing the government of a Rs 250 crore giveaway, while the government denied violations.
