Irish agency recalls sand art kit over asbestos risk; stop use, seal sand, return for refund.

The Irish Competition and Consumer Protection Commission has recalled the Kids Create Sand Art Kit due to possible asbestos in the sand, a banned carcinogen. Sold from January 2025 to February 2026 at retailers including Mr Deals Ltd and Tiger Feet Limited, the kit’s barcode is 5012128618222. Consumers must stop using it, seal unused sand in a labeled plastic bag, and clean used areas with gloves and a mask. Double-bag all materials and contact local authorities for disposal. Refunds are available from the retailer. Additionally, a recalled egg poacher and travel adapter pose electric shock risks and should be discontinued.
