The CBI, which took over the investigation from the Supreme Court, alleges Darwin Labs developed the scam’s digital infrastructure, including the Gain Bitcoin platform, MCAP cryptocurrency, and related tools.
The scheme promised high returns and shifted to its own low-value token as investments slowed.
The agency is pursuing charges under multiple laws and working to trace illicit funds and identify all involved.
