India seizes ₹313 crore in Agra property linked to Ansal Properties over misused homebuyer funds.

The Enforcement Directorate has attached Rs 313.12 crore in Agra real estate linked to Ansal Properties and Infrastructure Ltd over allegations of diverting homebuyer funds from its Sushant Golf City project. The seizure, under the PMLA, follows 278 FIRs accusing the company and its promoters of fraud, breach of trust, and conspiracy. Of Rs 1,234.92 crore collected, only Rs 921.80 crore was used for the project, with the rest allegedly misused. The attached land serves as substitute assets to protect homebuyers and ensure project continuity.
