Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” has reached number one on both the Mediabase and Country Airplay charts, marking her fourth overall #1 and second as a solo artist.
The song climbed to the top in 18 weeks, the fastest ascent for a solo female artist since Carrie Underwood’s “Church Bells” in 2016.
It also made history as the first song to return to number one after spending three weeks off the chart.
The track is the lead single from Langley’s upcoming second album and follows her prior chart-toppers with Riley Green: “you look like you love me” and “Don’t Mind If I Do.”
