Locke to a one-year, $5 million deal, adding depth to their secondary ahead of the 2026 season.
The 29-year-old, a former University of Texas player and undrafted free agent from 2019, played for the Steelers and Broncos, where he became a key special teams contributor and starter at strong safety in 2024.
He recorded 74 tackles and a forced fumble in 15 starts and made a playoff interception against Josh Allen.
The move strengthens Dallas’s defense and special teams, with Locke reuniting with new defensive coordinator Christian Parker, whom he worked with in Denver.
The signing fills a gap left by Donovan Wilson’s unsigned status and Juanyeh Thomas’s non-tender.
