Renault plans to launch 16 pure electric models in Europe by 2030 and phase out fuel-only cars, aiming for 100% electrified sales, including hybrids. The company targets over 2 million Renault-brand vehicles sold annually by 2030, with half sold outside Europe, up from 38% in 2025. It will introduce 36 new models globally, including 14 outside Europe, and develop a new EV platform with a range-extender option capable of up to 1,400 km. Renault is partnering with Geely for international expansion and in-house tech for European models while investing in robotics, hybrid technology beyond 2030, and a carOS platform with Google for remote updates. Despite declining margins, it reaffirms a 5% to 7% operating margin target and aims to cut costs per vehicle by €400.
