Ondas Holdings Inc. completed a $175 million all-stock merger with Mistral Inc., a U.S. defense prime contractor, on March 9, 2026, elevating Ondas to Tier-1 defense contractor status. The deal grants Ondas direct access to major U.S. Army and Special Operations contract vehicles, including a $982 million IDIQ contract for lethal unmanned systems and a $73.6 million USSOCOM loitering munitions contract. Mistral’s U.S.-based manufacturing, federal contracting infrastructure, and experience with unmanned systems and defense electronics will enable Ondas to scale production of autonomous drones and counter-UAS platforms while meeting "Buy American" requirements. The merger allows Ondas to transition from standalone deployments to long-term defense programs, enhancing its ability to deliver integrated mission solutions for defense, homeland security, and public safety.
