Super Eagles media officer Promise Efoghe has denied reports that head coach Éric Chelle is set to join Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca, calling the claims false. Chelle, who led Nigeria to third place in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, remains under contract with the Nigeria Football Federation until January 2027. Despite growing interest from clubs across Africa and Europe, the NFF has not indicated any plans to release him.
