The Court of Appeal in Abuja has upheld a lower court ruling invalidating the PDP’s November 2025 national convention in Ibadan, citing failure to hold state-level congresses in over 14 states, improper notice to INEC, and violation of court orders. The three-judge panel confirmed the convention was unconstitutional and unlawful, voiding the election of Taminu Turaki as party chairman and affirming the Caretaker Committee led by Mohammed Abdulrahman and Samuel Anyanwu as the only legitimate leadership.
