The Madhya Pradesh cabinet approved ₹33,240 crore to sustain key welfare and development programs across seven departments for the next five years, including healthcare expansions with three new ESIC dispensaries, a civil court in Singrauli, and the 'One District-One Product' initiative supporting traditional crafts.
Funds also support tribal welfare, women and child development, MSMEs, rural infrastructure, and power distribution reforms, with an ₹887.91 crore loan converted to equity.
The decisions cover the 16th Finance Commission period and include extended tax exemptions for persons with disabilities until 2030.
